I can’t stop thinking about his thong he did not know he owned. He did have a way to make things be better with his sense of humor. That helped all of us though it with him.
God bless Brad, Tami and Katie.

Mary and I drove out to visitation…a night early. Nobody would let us in. In fact, they must have all been asleep because all the lights were out and nobody was home…oh, that was me. Praying for Katie’s and your comfort and peace and strength. Love you, Diane ((Brad has yet one more thing to laugh about.))

Tami and Katie,
So sorry to hear about Brad. I know you will miss him greatly. Just know he no longer is enduring any pain or suffering. He is safe in the arms of Jesus and singing with the angels along with my Jay. Don’t know if I can make it for the visitation or memorial service. We just got home from the farm and are unpacking and cleaning up the van so we can hit the road again tomorrow. We are helping with a We Care campaign in Whitney, TX and then we are headed back to Abilene at the end of the week next week for a wedding and will probably be at the farm until after Thanksgiving.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. Contact me if you need to talk sometime. I know what you are probably feeling right now. Our bout with cancer was not as long, but it was still devastating.
There are some good materials available to help you deal with your grief and the loneliness you will experience in the coming days. I will try to get back in touch with you when we get back home the first part of December.
With my deepest sympathy,
Roberta

“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Dude,
My friend he was no quitter, Though he fell 1000 times,
Brad Williams was a fighter, His heart Big as a lion;
I want to yell “get up dude, get back in the game,
Your team really need you, without you, we aren’t the same;”
You’re the heart, you’re the laughter, you make everything alright,
Even thru the lonely loss, there are no losers on this night;
You were once the fastest and best looking of us all,
Tonight you’re the first to answer Jesus’ call;
Your body lays here resting, in your favorite baby blue,
But your soul- It must be soaring, as the head coach welcomes you;
Old Friend, try to be silent and listen close tonight,
your friends have all gathered to warm up in your light;
Yea buddy, you made me smile, so often thru the years,
We will start up with the stories and finish with the tears;
All you Farine Falcons, you brought life to my old friend,
You rascals kept him fighting until the very end;
It occurs to me today, Brad was really born to teach
Even in this moment, the Dudes words are ever in our reach;
Encouraging and Caring about tomorrow you had dreams,
Now your tomorrows are with Jesus, and we are still one golden team;
So until the Big Reunion when we see you at the gate,
Your love and friendship thru this life, has been So Very Great!
Love you man,
Al
